TRCA Neighborhood News: July Water Main Replacement on King Street Walnut-Rosemont, Hearing on 26 Jun

Hello All,

Virginia American Water will be replacing the existing
water main along King Street from West Walnut Street
to West Rosemont Avenue. The proposed start of the
project is early July and will last approximately
seven to eight weeks. 

It will cause intermittent disruptions in water
service and traffic patterns along King Street. The
project will result in improved water service and
decreased instances of water main leaks and breaks. 

A public meeting on Monday, June 26, 2006, at 6:00
p.m., at Maury Elementary School located on 600
Russell Road, Alexandria, will provide details about
the project activities and schedule. Residents are
invited to take this opportunity to attend this and to
learn more about this project and its long-term
benefits.
