- TRCA General Meeting on April 16, 2008 -

The newly-elected TRCA Executive Committee has
received a petition proposing the following
Constitutional amendment and action: 

1. Amending the Constitution to provide for a Spring
meeting and annual elections in May (instead of March,
as recently occurred).
 
2. Conducting another election for 2008-09 Executive
Committee members this May.
 
According to the TRCA constitution, any petition
signed by more that 10 members in good standing
requires the association to hold a General Meeting
within 10 days. The petition submitted to the
Committee met these requirements.  To view the

The TRCA Executive Committee therefore will hold a
General Meeting in conjunction with its
regularly-scheduled Committee Meeting beginning at
7:30 pm on April 16, 2008, at the Masonic Memorial.
   
Please mark your calendar and make plans to attend
this important meeting.

Please also plan on attending TRCA's upcoming Earth
Day event, a clean-up of Angel Park, on April 26,2008,
from 9 am through noon.  A flyer for this event can
also be viewed on the TRCA website.
