[Lf] CW filter and Laptops

A laptop makes sense as a portable console.  I plan to get one sometime
this year.  Still, there will be limits to the capability of any PC,
especially economy models with 486-75 processors.

Additional dedicated DSP subsystems can add to the capability of a
system.  I think about attaching DSP units via "PC-card", EISA, AGP,
firewire, parallel, USB, RS-232 serial, and even analog daisy chain if
necessary.

If I knew more about it, I would chart the waters of PC sound.  These
compatibility issues are crippling the PC-DSP effort.
