The Loran transmitter recently installed on the French coast is considered particularly
"dirty" as far as harmonics are concerned. The Brits complained to the US manufactured, and
the result of the investigation was, as I recall, that the transmitter site in question was
"within specs"
Incidentally, when in Nags Head we could hear quite well the Loran harmonics, going up to
about 120 Khz.  A ":cleaner" transmitting station?
