Hello Edwin,

Congratulations on copying one of our beacons.
Please note that we presently operate two beacons
a) WA2XTF/6 in Vienna Virginia, on 136.750
b) WA2XTF/12 in Front Royal Virginia 136.745

You should be able to discriminate between both, using a dsp program such as
Spectran

Look up http://www.amrad.org/projects/lf for more information, details of
experiments, etc.

Most unmodified HF rigs (although not Kenwoods) are notoriously "deaf" below 200
KHz, and you may need a preamp. Can you hear Loran on 100 KHz? If not, you are
short on gain between 100 and 200 KHZ.

If LF is of interest to you, you could join our <lf at amrad.org> reflector.
Details on our above mentioned url .

Thanks again, 73 and Happy 2000
