Good place to hide the GPS antenna. My handheld GPS doesn't have provisionsfor an external antenna (yet.) There are window mount 2 meter antennasthat are supposed to look like the old analog cell phone antennas. Theymight be worth a look. I have similar problems on my pickup. I have a sliding glass window in therear. One pane on each side is fixed. I'm thinking of removing the glassfrom behind the driver's side, and replace it with plexiglass. That way,I can drill holes for coax connectors, and even mount a few right angleantenna brackets for smaller antennas. No screwdriver antennas, but simple1/4 wave 2 meters, or the proverbial dual band cell phone look-alike.If necessary, I have at least one completely mobile APRS package that can be used by witch watch.
