Good place to hide the GPS antenna. My handheld GPS doesn't have provisions<BR>for an external antenna (yet.) There are window mount 2 meter antennas<BR>that are supposed to look like the old analog cell phone antennas. They<BR>might be worth a look. <BR><BR>I have similar problems on my pickup. I have a sliding glass window in the<BR>rear. One pane on each side is fixed. I'm thinking of removing the glass<BR>from behind the driver's side, and replace it with plexiglass. That way,<BR>I can drill holes for coax connectors, and even mount a few right angle<BR>antenna brackets for smaller antennas. No screwdriver antennas, but simple<BR>1/4 wave 2 meters, or the proverbial dual band cell phone look-alike.<BR><BR>If necessary, I have at least one completely mobile APRS package that can be <BR>used by witch watch.<BR><br /><hr />Climb to the top of the charts!
