TRCA Neighborhood News: Taylor Run Citizens’ Association 2007 Fall Picnic Update

Dear Neighbors,
 
As you know, the Taylor Run Citizens’ Association annual fall picnic will be a block party this year, held on W. View Terrace (between Hilltop and S. View Terrace).  We have obtained the appropriate permit, as required by the City of Alexandria.  Our thanks goes out to the residents of W. View Terrace for agreeing to let us host this party on their street!
 
As a reminder, the party will take place this Sunday, October 28, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.  There will be a live band (located toward the S. View end of the street) and two moon bounces (located near the Hilltop end of the street).  Food tables will be in the center of the block.  Volunteers will be setting up around 2:00 pm on Sunday.  
 
Attention Residents of West View Terrace: You are not obligated to move your parked cars, but if you are able to, that would be greatly appreciated.   IMPORTANT:  We will be blocking off the street at starting at 2:00pm until 6:00pm on Sunday, October 28, so if you need your car during this time or if you want to move your vehicle, please plan on moving before the block party.  With so many neighbors and kids in the street, it will be difficult to move once the party has started.
