[Lf] PLC communications dead ?!?

Hi to all,

I just saw on yahoo.de this interesting piece of news (in German, sorry):

basically it says that RWE has decided to stop experiments with its internet
over power cable services, because it seems that the modems used are too
unstable. 

Although Ascom (the Swiss producer of the cable modems) is providing the
technology to several other customers, the fact that a company like RWE
stopped their experimentation could be be the first nail on the coffin for
PLC.... :-))))
