OK, dumb question.  So the antenna has less than an ohm of input
resistance and a bunch of capacitance.  You hook it to the output of a
low impedance output device, maybe a voltage regulator or the LM1875. (I
would hate to design a bandpass filter at this frequency with this
impedance so let't pretend that the output signal is pure. 

Does this device even know that you have an antenna connected?  Or just
a long lead that happens to radiate?  So the whole wire voltage goes up
and down with little change in voltage from end to end?  Maybe a little
gets radiated.

I'm surely violating some law or other.

And what signal levels do I expect on 136 KHz with evening noise there
(depending upon the antenna)
