Now that the soldering irons are coming out I suspect that there is
considerable interest in transmitter construction. Most of the European tx
designs utilize the (now defunct) 3C85 series of ferrite cores. This
material has now been replaced by 3C90 material. Has anyone done any
investigation of the specs for this ferrite to find an Amidon equivalent
that could be substituted in the Eu designs?
