Peter,
Greetings from the crew at Nags Head North Carolina.
We set up last night, Friday 15 Jan 2000. Results follow.
Setup includes 2 ea RX320, 1 ea Cubic R3080, 1 ea Wandel Goltermann
AT-463, 1 ea wideband Efield probe with 4 channel multicoupler, 1 ea
tuned Efield probe.
Low noise, excellent conditions.
0400-0600Z very strong 162 kHz France Inter and Europe #1 on 183 strong
(Perfectly intelligible speech and music).
We had clear channels on 137.750 and 137.760 kHz. Weak carrier on
137.770 at least until 0800Z when we shut down.
Strong signal CFH at 137.00 copied but not a problem.
Plan to set up one station on the beach tonight. Station will remain at
the beach cottage.
Spectran dispay is providing good weak signal detection with RX320s.
We hope to copy your stations tonight given quiet sferics and excellent
propagation from France Inter.
Do you know what is on 189 kHz with Slavic or Nordic language?
