[Lf] Nags Head trip

LFers,

When we went to Nags Head last year we generated some lists of things to 
take and afterwards we generated a "Lessons Learned" list of what we 
might do better next time.  That next time approaches.  Take a look at

into a "What We Did".  

I used Street Atlas 6 to calculate the route and time to Richmond 
Frostfest from Nags Head.  It is a bit further and longer than I 
thought.  It calculated a 3.5 hour trip.  To arrive at 8 am when it opens 
means we leave at 4:30 AM after a Saturday night of listening.  Any thoughts?

We could use a salamander heater for the garage at the beach cottage.  
Anybody got one?

I am going out today, Sunday, with a basic setup in my van to see how it 
works and find problems in time to solve before going down to Nags Head.

I will provide directions in a day or two and discuss logistics of sleep 
and food.
