The test from SAQ in Grimeton, Sweden at 0600 UTC 2 JAN was
heard here at my location midway between Washington DC and
Richmond VA. V's were heard preceding the hour mark then
CQ's and the SAQ callsign. Light dimmer noise hindered copying
anything more. Antenna was a 19 inch e-field probe on the roof
to a homebrew pre-amp and converter feeding a NRD-525 and a
Timewave DSP audio filter. The signal was also visible on the
Spectran spectrum anayis program display between light dimmer
spikes at 17,1 and 17.28 kHz.
