Hello Andre

Took my receiving gear to a new location and have copied the Beacon. I
even have a spectran pix with your call on it HI. The location was in
Mechanicsburg Pa at about 140 miles, Sunday 12/26 at about 1730 hrs
local

The rcv gear is a HB DBM mixer driven with a 4 Mhz clock osc and a JFET
pre amp the antenna was a HF sloper with a yeasu FT767 and was able to
copy by ear as well as on screen. QUITE SURPRISED

Tried to hear on a K9AY loop but the sloper was best. The AY needed a
proper transformer

Proved the HB converter works better than an R2000 or the Yeasu FT767
direct
also that the Clock Osc. is right on frequency .The nice thing is now
with the proper benchmark and the ,HAVING DONE IT , I am able to copy it
at the home QTH but a lot weaker. Had it right on 136.740.

Where do I send the QSL card. or do I go through a QSL manager. I f you
want I can ship you a Spectran JPG of the signal

Hi Bob K3DJC York Pa.
