LF Gang,
in another message, Mitch VE3OT just informed me that he heard the Front Royal
beacon
I quote:
"Listening at 1:30 - 2:30 AM (after wrapping presents !) and guess what:
Solid copy without filters - the tape will tell the story.
I am attempting to attach a WAV file (>2Meg) and if this fails, I will just
extract a wee bit and attach when I hear from you."
unquote
see also his second message below my answer, and try and download his sound
file, please
Thanks Andre'

Hello Mitch,
thanks for the file. When I tried to run, my computer said "file type not
supported". I am thus relaying your mesg. to all the other fellows on
lf-amrad.org, in the hope that some of them will be able to decode it. I believe
there is a utility called "sox" which can convert file types, but I don't have
it yet.
On the other hand, I have received your 2 MB file, and will try and listen to it
this afternoon.
Thanks again for all your efforts.
If you are interested you may want to join our lf reflector. Go to
