Hello Frank,

a) It would be interesting to collect comments from participants in last
year's expedition. As I recall, the noise level on the beach was better than
at your house. Was it that much better? Obviously, operating from you house,
eventually attaching an e-field probe on the roof rather than in your back
garden, would yield better results.
Also if it rained etc., we would be slightly better off indoor than on the
beach.
It also got quite cold on the beach, as I recall.
Overall, if the improvements offered by the beach are marginal, I would opt
for operating from your house.

b) I believe both our transmitters should be on the air at the same time.

c) we should make certain that we understand the finer points of Spectran
(the new DSP Italian program) Bill Farmer has experimented extensively with
that contraption, and may be able to give us a few valuable pointers

d) finally, how difficult would it be to add another top wire to Hal's setup,
this one perpendicular to the existing horizontal one? This should double our
capacity to ground, and I believe it should not be that difficult to do
between now and mid January.

Regards
Andre'
