By the way, it appears that N0CXX-5 is not digipeating right now. I see RF beacons of N0CXX-5 and the 146.745 repeater but looks like it hasn't digipeated anything in 2+days.<div><br></div><div><blockquote style="margin:0 0 0 40px;border:none;padding:0px">

I've seen two radios hooked up to a TNC but I don't think I've seen two TNCs hooked up to a single radio before; interesting thought. What would be the implications of them interacting -- i.e. both TNCs want to transmit at the same time?<div>
<br></div><div>I was thinking something along the lines of a TNC 'sharing' program such as AGWPE or ldsped, replacing the physical connection to the TNC with a TCP/IP connection for all the extra features. I'm not familiar with the UIdigi ROM at all but if the serial port can still be used to connect a computer while the TNC handles the digipeating, it should work. I think the weather station already has a dedicated computer that is on 24/7 uploading it's weather to the CWOP servers, so there is some flexibility there too.</div>

<div>Posting from the CRAPRS mailing list:<br></div>
I had a thought on a possible way to solve the local monitor problem. How about hooking two TNCs to the digi radio? One would be the present N0CXX-5 running the UIdigi code and the other a stock TNC connected to a PC running UI-View or APRSIS32.<span><font color="#888888"><br>
