<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">I did a couple APRS installs this
week, and found out that from the trunk of both cars, you can slide the
GPS antenna up through the back deck metal and under the back deck cardboard
near the base of the rear window. This affords an invisible inside
GPS antenna installation. The antenna apparently sees the sky just
fine, as they were working well inside the garage. Both antennas
were mag mount patches, but wouldn't need to be magnetically attached,
as the deck material holds the antennas quite firmly. </font>

<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">Just thought you would like to
know. I was half tempted to drive the 2 meter 1/4 wave whip up through
that material, and keep it just inside the back window as well, but
it is still an external mag mount antenna. The TX antenna is in need
of a real mount, probably off the trunk hinge. </font>
