One possibility would be to rebuild what you have using a 1/4" wall
aluminum mast you can get from WB0W when he comes to town, or meet him
some place at a hamfest. He sells the material for his gin poles and will
provide 12 or 24 foot lengths. I know this will be heavier than the DB
products mast.
BTW DB Products are commercial antennas.

[CRAPRS] K0HAM-10 Antenna
Posting from the CRAPRS mailing list:
Recent storms have done a number on the antenna at K0HAM-10 near Morse. It
should look like this: >

But it now looks like this: >
http://s156.photobucket.com/albums/t17/k0qvf/?action=view¤t=db_224_b.jpg
and >
http://s156.photobucket.com/albums/t17/k0qvf/?action=view¤t=db_224_a.jpg
It is actually a DB-264 not a DB-224 as the photo says. Note that all the
microwave antennas have been removed from the
tower. Anyone know where I can get a replacement cheap? This one was
donated by my son, W0JRT, who lives in Lenexa KS.
He will take back whats left of this one for parts to rebuild another
one that he has and is going to use down there.
The tower owner requests that I use commercial grade antennas on his
towers.
Thanks,
Ron - K0QVF
