[CRAPRS] Eastern Iowa DSTAR Frequencies?

I asked a few months ago, and got virtually no major answers. I am still
trying to learn what DSTAR does and how it works.
It has been suggested by others that 145.670 be used as a simplex DSTAR
calling frequency for Eastern Iowa.
I have had my radio set there, and have only heard KC0PON 1 time,
otherwise it is quiet. But time will tell.
The DSTAR repeater is in Collins club future plans, but still up in the
air right now, mainly due to questions of funds.

I don't anything about D-Star, I think the Collins Ham Club is talking
about putting up a D-Star repeater in Cedar Rapids, only time will tell
if it really happens.
