Just getting caught up with email.....

I've been home two weeks now. My injuries keep me most couch-bound,
but I'm getting my mobility back with each day. I appreciate the
cards, but mostly, I appreciate the prayers. I can attest to the
power of prayer.

Eventually, I'll share the story....the miracle.... of how I fell
about 30 feet landing on cement with my 6 year old son, and how he
walked away with scratches and a few bruises, (i got him to land on
me) and how I wound up with lots of cracked and broken bones, but was
only handicapped by a severely mangled arm, (that i nearly lost) that
will probably eventually have a near 100% recovery.

So my APRS baloons that I was going to launch as near to the longest
days of the year, may have to wait another year. I won't be climbing
towers for probably that long, too, so my digi/igate deployment on my
tower will also have to wait.

The aprs setup in my wife's vehicle was nice...I could watch her
drive to and from the hospital.

I'll probably be confined to the couch for another month before I can
start to withstand having my arm in a sling. I spend a lot of time
just sittng around and healing. :-)

Mostly, I'm just happy to be here, with the abilities that I still
have. It could have been so much worse. Make the most of each day,
and value your health, because it could drastically change in as
little as 1.8 seconds, as it did for me.

-Jerry
