The message below is a forward from the TAPR APRS Mailing List. I now have a Kenwood TM-D710 in the vehicle, I highly
recommend it. It provides a real time display of the local APRS activity. I have been putting an object up announcing
the CVARC club meeting on the Friday before the meeting. Using any of the Kenwood radios a visitor could find the
meeting just by navigating towards the object using the information on the radio display. Take a look at

Thanks to all! My flashing D7 HT display with the "MY MESSAGE"
is now on my LOCAL INFO web page. Scott put it together for me
and it looks real!

I made a lot of improvements to this site. I highly recommend
that evey APRS operator become familiar with this page and share
it with every ham he knows. Especially all those that think
APRS is just a vehicle tracking system. They are wrong.
