didn't check my coverage this weekend, so I didn't notice that K0HAMwas missing. That's too bad for us. When you get closer to installationon the Chelsea location, give the board a holler. I'll try to help, butyou know how things can get.---------------------- Forwarded Message: ---------------------From: Ron Tonneson <ron.tonneson at gmail.com>To: CRAPRS <craprs at rf.org>Subject: [CRAPRS] K0HAM-9 digipeater tower soldDate: Mon, 15 Oct 2007 03:01:53 +0000Posting from the CRAPRS mailing list:K0HAM-9 went silent at at about 1409 CDT on October 12. This leaves us with a large gap in coverage along I80 and US30 to the west. To make matters worse KC0NFA-2 in Newton went off several weeks ago and so far attempts to contact KC0NFA regarding its status have been unsuccessful.I finally did get in contact with Jerry Helleso (previous tower owner where K0HAM-9 was located) tonight. He said that the new owner "pulled the plug" as he did not want to pay for the power. He also said the there was a Christian radio station going in there. I told him that I could coexist with it if we could work out the power problem. He was in his car and did not have the new owners name or phone number. I am to call him back on Wednesday as I guess the new owner will be there then.We may end up needing to move it to the Chelsea tower. I have plenty of coax, will just have to get an antenna.Ron - K0QVFwas missing. That's too bad for us. When you get closer to installationon the Chelsea location, give the board a holler.
