Welcome to CRAPRS (Cedar Rapids Automatic Packet Reporting System).  This mail list system is being 
setup to provide a convenient means for us to exchange ideas and information about APRS in east 
central Iowa.  Even though the name includes Cedar Rapids the list is open to anyone who has an 
interest in APRS regardless of their QTH.  A big thank you to Ron, KX9Y for setting the list up and 
hosting it on rf.org.

For those that do not know me, I am Ron, K0QVF, in Fairfax.  I operate a WIDE1-1 digi and Igate from 
my QTH.  I also have a fill-in digi, K0QVF-2 operating from SW Cedar Rapids thanks to space provided 
by WB0VVZ.  Thanks to the Benton County Amateur Radio Club for the antenna and tower and W0FG for 
the location I have K0KBX-1 operating as a WIDE3 digi.  Thanks to the Collins Amateur Radio Club we 
have W0CXX-5 operating as a WIDE3 digi.

We have been offered space for digipeaters on various Heartland towers and hope to get something put 
up this spring.  At this time I am collecting equipment.  I have two GE Phoenix radios, two 25 amp 
power supplies, one TNC, one Andrew DB264 antenna and 500 feet of co-ax.  We will put out the call 
on the list when we need some help getting things installed.
