Pretty good spare, Ron. How much does the GE Phoenix draw on transmit?I'm guessing about 6 or 7 amps. I'm just wondering, in case we need tohook it up to some battery sometime.K0HAM-10 has sure been hauling. I will be on my bike tomoroow morning,up through the usual Wapsipinicon valley. History has shown good coverageuntil HWY 1, then I drop down in the valley for a few miles.Too bad I couldn't convince Dale to leave up the temporary digi, with hisbeam pointing down the valley. Maybe APRS will find a spark in Anamosa, and someone will want to put up a small digi there.---------------------- Forwarded Message: ---------------------From: Ron Tonneson <ron.tonneson at gmail.com>To: CRAPRS <craprs at rf.org>Subject: [CRAPRS] Spare digipeaterDate: Thu, 5 Jul 2007 19:43:16 +0000Posting from the CRAPRS mailing list:I now have a complete spare digipeater consisting of:GE Phoenix 40 watt radio on 144.39Samlex SEC-1223 power supplyMFJ-1274 TNCActivity monitor moduleI have this equipment as spares for the K0QVF-2, W0CXX-5, K0KBX-1, K0HAM-9 and K0HAM-10 digipeaters.
