Bill had been an inactive ham when someone invited him out to the radio farm for a contest. He immediately became involved in hamming again, probably in an attempt to save the hobby from rabid radio farmers. It was too late. Bill himself was absorbed. "Prepare to be assimilated."
Bill is now back in the area, after career opportunites took him out of town for about 12 years.
